I would like to share my experience with Donna Ames as our adoption attorney. First of all, our adoption was complex to say the least. I’m a labor nurse and my patient asked me to adopt her child. My husband and I were not actively seeking to adopt at the time, we did not have a home-study, and we lived out of state. I called Mrs. Donna, by reference of a friend, on a Sunday morning. She immediately dropped everything she was doing and picked up our case because time was of the utmost importance. She was willing to take on our unusual circumstances and the challenges that doing an adoption for lack of a better term backwards would pose without any hesistation. She was easy to stay in touch with, we were able to text, email, and call as needed. Having all of this happen so fast we were extremely worried about our family finances and not being prepared, but Mrs. Donna was so reasonable with her fees and we were easily able to afford adoption whereas many other couples have spent double to triple to adopt. Mrs. Donna worked long hours during holidays and on wekends to help our family, and we are so blessed to have had her help and support throughout our journey! For us to have done everything out of traditional order, our adoption was completed in 5 short months!! I can’t tell you how blessed our family feels to have had her in our lives. She is so knowledgeable and provides excellent resources for anything we needed. Mrs. Donna is an amazing person and holds true devotion for her work.
